4 PLACES TO VISIT IN SWIFT RHODE ISLAND

You may have already seen Taylor Swift in many places around the world, but did you know there are many more places you can visit in this sweet state? Here are just a few of them! Besides her own house, you can also visit historic landmarks, farms, and more.

Taylor Swift’s home

The 8,000-square-foot beachside estate on the Watch Hill peninsula in Westerly, Rhode Island is one of the most expensive homes in the Ocean State. The house is just three minutes away from the home of Taylor Swift, an A-list singer and songwriter. Swift has gone to great lengths to keep her personal life and home life out of the tabloids.

The singer often frequents restaurants in the area, including the Olympia Tea Room, a 100-year-old family-run restaurant with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. She has been spotted here with numerous A-list friends, including Lena Dunham and Ed Sheeran. She also enjoys the desserts at this quaint restaurant, including the Avondale Swan pastry.

Swift’s house is the subject of many songs, and she has used her Rhode Island mansion as inspiration for some of her best-selling songs. In her song “Cornelia Street,” she sings about the former carriage house, while in her second single, “Folklore,” she cites the story of the home’s previous owners.

Swift’s Rhode Island mansion is a stunning property that has several entertainment spaces, including a pool. It’s also home to several A-list parties. Photos from these parties appeared on the social media pages of several famous celebrities. Swift has a very special relationship with her home and has called it her favorite spot to spend holidays.

Swift’s home is reportedly 4,000 square feet, which is enough space for three bedrooms and four bathrooms. The shabby-chic interior is decorated with vintage art and other items. She even gave a tour of her home to Katie Couric a few years ago.

Beaches

The state of Rhode Island is awash in controversy over the ownership of beaches. A recent Supreme Court decision upheld a lower court ruling that property owners have the right to erect fences and keep strangers off of their private beaches. This case is an example of how beach disputes have divided coastal communities across America for years. Swift’s property is situated near a popular surfing spot and has become a focus of national attention.

Watch Hill Beach and East Beach are two popular beaches in Watch Hill. The latter is a bit more accessible than the former, but requires some help in getting there. East Beach is a walkable beach and has a scenic view of Block Island and the Taylor Swift estate. Narragansett, a small town west of Newport, is another popular destination for summer visitors.

This scenic stretch of sand is located close to the famous Newport Cliff Walk. The 3.5-mile walk offers spectacular views of the sea and mansions. The Save the Bay Exploration Center is also located nearby. The latter has water slides, bumper boats, and batting cages.

Several neighboring properties have also complained about a construction project near Swift’s home in Westerly, Rhode Island. The construction of a private mansion along a public right of way to the beach has concerned surfers and local residents. Fortunately, the Coastal Resources Management Council has been closely monitoring the project. The project involves repairing the seawall and resetting boulders.

The state of Rhode Island has over forty miles of coastline and boasts many popular beaches. Whether you’re a surfer, a sunset lover, or just want to relax on the beach with your flip-flops, Rhode Island has a beach for you.

Historic landmarks

The National Park Service is entering its second century, and is committed to telling the history of our country through National Historic Landmarks. The program recognizes buildings, historic districts, structures, and archaeological sites that have special value to the nation. To help preserve these landmarks, the National Park Service offers technical assistance and grants to local communities.

Taylor Swift is a celebrity and wants her Beverly Hills mansion to be classified as a historic landmark. The mansion was built in 1934 and was once owned by movie mogul Samuel Goldwyn. It has six bedrooms and five bathrooms and was designed by Douglas Honnold. The home includes a private screening room, library, gym, and swimming pool. The singer also owns a beachside mansion in Rhode Island.

The Sullivan Dorr House was donated to the Providence Preservation Society by Dorr’s great-granddaughter in 1956. Today, the house contains nine bedrooms and six bathrooms. The house’s former carriage house has been converted to a garage. Another historic landmark is the Sarah Helen Whitman House, which was the home of a former American poet, Sarah Helen Whitman. After her husband’s death, she returned to the home she shared with him.

Watch Hill Beach is a 1.5-mile stretch of coastline that is a bird sanctuary. The beach is a popular destination for locals and visitors. It is also home to the Flying Horse Carousel, the oldest continuously operating carousel in the U.S.

Campgrounds

The State of Rhode Island provides over 8,200 acres of state-owned parklands and campgrounds. These facilities include hiking trails, picnic areas, and swimming areas. Visitors can also enjoy the state’s beautiful beaches. In addition, there are many campgrounds with affordable rates. The state is also home to over 400 miles of coastline.

Many campgrounds can accommodate RVs up to 50 feet long. However, site lengths vary widely within a park. For example, a 22-foot RV would require a site that is 47 feet long. Check-in hours at these parks are from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM. If you plan to arrive after the check-in hours, call the campground to ask about special after-hours check-in procedures.

Swift Creek Campground is a popular option near Baker Lake. With more than 50 campsites, Swift Creek Campground offers plenty of space for families and groups to enjoy the outdoors. The campground features a day-use area on the lakeside and paved boat ramps and a 20-slip dock.

While some campgrounds do accommodate large groups, it is important to check their requirements before booking. Some campgrounds do not allow campers under 18 without proper adult supervision. You should contact the campground directly if you’re traveling with large groups. If you’re traveling with youths, you’ll need to provide adequate adult supervision – one adult for every ten children.

If you’re visiting the area for an extended vacation, you can try out some of the state’s many campgrounds. Swift Forest Camp, the largest of the three reservoirs in the Swift River, offers a rustic and scenic setting for RV and tent camping. In addition, the campground offers access to the Gifford Pinchot National Forest, making it the perfect base camp for outdoor adventures.
